Ark of Rehabilitation Inc is a Maryland community based mental health agency that provide a comprehensive Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC) dedicated to providing personalized care through Therapy, Medication Management, and a range of intensive behavioral health services, to children, families and adults.
Ark of Rehabilitation clinicians and rehabilitation staffs provide qualitative clinical and community-based services within the comfort of the office and/or familiarity of the community or; enhancing adequate participation and encouraging greater treatment compliance. Services are provided without compromising confidentially.

Referral Process
1. Referrals can be initiated from many different places to many different people depending upon the program:
2. Clinic- Most referrals are client initiated, i.e walk in’s, calling into the main line to schedule appointments. The front office staffs are the first to handle these referrals and follow basic referral guidelines, outlined below.
3. School Based- Most referrals here are given initially to the assigned therapist at the school-by-School Staff or Parent request. Clinicians will follow School based Referral Process below.
DJS- Referrals are made by the Parole Officer or the DJS Case manager or anyone in the DJS system working with the client. Follow DJS Referral process
4. Substance Abuse Facilities - Referrals come from Substance abuse facility staff or direct client request.
Referrals are made directly to the intake coordinator. If a referral happens to be given to another therapist at the site, it is their responsibility to pass it to the intake coordinator.

Intake Procedure for OMHC/Medicaid – Clinical Requirements
Ark office staffs will call client a day or two ahead to confirm intake appointment and request current medication list or any other relevant questions. This is not just to remind them of their upcoming appointment; rather it is to make a personal connection between therapist and the client.
Therapist can use the opportunity to reduce the anxiety of meeting a new therapist by showing sympathy and caring.
1. Initial Contact with client – Client is given intake folder to complete upon their check in with the front desk. All intake packet, include client consent to treatment will be signed and completely fill out upon client's arrival to the clinic.
2. Off-site- Therapist/Intake Coordinator will help client by gives the packet to the client upon their arrival to session or client home. The packet will be fill out and completed before client first session.
Note: All services are subject to client's eligibility and Insurance services approval.
